Alyssa is a Chicana social worker originally from San Antonio, TX. After graduating from the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis, I worked in non-profits around domestic violence, crisis intervention, and community mental health with children, teens and adults.

Alyssa specializes in treating traumatic birth experiences as well as supporting clients through vicarious trauma and burnout. Alyssa has a special focus on supporting BIPOC and LGBTQIA clients through life transitions. Alyssa utilizes EMDR, Brainspotting, and Ego-State/parts work to support her clients through their stuck points.

At this moment, Alyssa is also doing virtual sessions for Texas and Illinois
