Dr. Michelle Joaquin, a Latina psychologist, specializes in trauma and psychological assessment of asylum seekers. She completed advanced trauma training at USC and led DEI faculty groups at Yale. She is also trained in evidence-based mental health care and currently runs a private psychotherapy practice in California and New York.
