Profile
I (she/her/hers/ella) believe that therapy should be accessible, trauma-informed and should help people lead lives that interest and challenge them. My therapeutic approaches are rooted in social justice with an emphasis on exploration through learning and storytelling. I believe that everyone is an expert on their own lives and that clients are best supported when they are engaged in shaping their therapeutic experiences. I support clients who identify as Latinx, queer/trans/GNC and/or neurodivergent, as well as young adults facing social and emotional challenges such as: depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, self advocacy, and family and relationship difficulties. I work from a person centered, strength-based, mindfulness-based and emotionally-focused perspective.
I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and have lived part of my life in the U.S. and Spain. My personal immigration experiences inform my work, specifically with language and cultural accessibility. I am a Licensed Master of Social Work in New York State. I attended Boston University for my undergraduate and graduate studies and have a graduate degree in special education and social work.
